DIY Pet Ice Cream Recipe

Keep Your Pet Cool & Satisfied This Summer with DIY Pet Ice Cream!

With UAE temperatures rising day by day we naturally tend to indulge and cool down on popsicles, cooler beverages and most importantly - ICE CREAM! But wait, why should we humans have all the fun? While you cool down this summer, don’t forget your furry friend! Now you can make Pet-friendly Ice Cream at the comfort of your own home with our pawsome new recipe.

Here’s what you will need:

1 ripe banana
¾ cup cooked oatmeal (Cook 1 cup rolled oats with water)
1 cup plain nonfat/low-fat yogurt
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Your Pet’s favourite treats (For garnishing)

Kitchenware:

Fork / Masher
Measuring Cups
Mixing bowl
Mixing spoon / Spatula
Ice Cream Cups

Follow these steps:

1. Pour all the ingredients into a mixing bowl. The oats have to be cooked to be digestible.

2. Mix everything together until well-combined with a good consistency.

3. Pour the prepared mixture into ice cream cups or bowls of your choice. Freeze it for minimum 3-4 hours preferably overnight. After freezing, garnish it with your pet’s favourite treats for added flavour!
